It is very important to think and rethink first of all that are we actually made for specific stream or we have selected these subjects either our parents wants us to chose these subjects or our friends are taking these subjects, so we as humans do such errors. But it is also possible that you have chosen the subjects and have taken your own decision. And if the anxiety (like you mentioned phobia from numericals) has been build recently, it may be possible that your exams may be approaching and huge syllabus must be left for preparations and hence somewhere you feel that you will not be able to cover it and it is causing anxiety.
