Hello lybrate-user, In winters having 1 tablespoon (for adults) of chyawanprash with luke warm water and/or milk. All age group can have chyawanprash (only except babies of 6 months- 18 months). 1/2 tsp for babies 18 months to 2 yrs, 1 tsp for 2 to 5 years kids, 1/2 tablespoon for 5 to 16 years of children 1 tablespoon 16 to 60/65 years of adults For adults above 65 yrs, better to give them 1 tsp of it daily in winters. Chyawanprash is a better option. However, the healthy way of putting on weight is good diet and exercise. Now, you should focus on what you are eating. Increase your protein intake and good fats.
