UTI, also known as Urinary Tract Infection, can occur in any part of the urinary tract and most of the UTIs are caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses. Some of the common signs and symptoms of UTIs include burning with urination, bloody urine, cloudy urine, pelvic pain and rectal pain.

An urologist would check your urine to see the traces of bacteria that could be cause of this infection including E Coli.
HOW IS UTI TREATED?
UTI treatment is done mostly with high doses of antibiotics to restrain infection and prevent it from spreading further. If you do suffer from high fever, the doctor would also give a paracetamol. Alongside, drinking lots of water to flush out the bacteria from your system is suggested.
