Double Outlet Right Ventricle or DORV is a heart disease or disorder where the aorta connects to the right ventricle instead of the left. This is a congenital disease. Patients would have trouble breathing, would not gain weight and grow and have swollen legs or abdomen.

The treatment will be done with the help of surgery. The surgery will depend on the age of the patient and the factors involving recovery. The surgery is carried out so as to connect the aorta with the left ventricle and the pulmonary artery with the right ventricle.
