जीट एक्सपेक्टोरंट (Zeet Expectorant) मुळे संक्रमण, सामान्य सर्दी किंवा एलर्जीमुळे होणा-या छातीतील कंजेशन कमी होते. एक कष्टप्रद म्हणून, ते आपल्या घशात आणि छातीत कंजेशन्स सोडून कार्य करते, ज्यामुळे तोंडातून खोकला येणे सोपे होते.

मुलांसाठी आणि प्रौढांसाठी डोस वेगळे आहे आणि आपल्या वैद्यकीय स्थितीवर आधारित डॉक्टरांद्वारे निर्धारित केला जातो. प्रौढांसाठी शिफारस केलेली डोस 200 ते 400 मिलीग्राम, आवश्यकतेनुसार प्रत्येक 4 तास घेतल्या जातात. दिवसासाठी जास्तीत जास्त डोस 2.4 ग्रॅम / दिवसापेक्षा जास्त नसावा.

Zeet is an expectorant which reduces adhesiveness and surface tension of congealed mucus in upper respiratory tract to increase flow of mucous, stimulating and increasing efficiency of the cilia to remove the accumulated mucus. Secondly, it works by triggering the TRPM8 receptors in the skin that are cold-sensitive. It does that by blocking calcium currents of the neuronal membrane. Through kappa-opioid receptor agonism, it can also produce analgesic characteristics. And also acts against free histamine as it binds to the HA-receptor sites. And lastly, it help the natural mechanisms to clear respiratory tract mucus. It increases serous mucus production in respiratory tract and reduces phlegm viscosity, which helps the cilia to clear mucous from the respiratory tract.
