Good afternoon sir
What is the difference between vigora and Viagra please tell me?
Vigora 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Vigora 100mg tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. While Viagra works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of blood vessels in certain areas of the body. In most cases, Viagra works well and has changed people's lives for the better. Viagra is the brand name for sildenafil citrate and is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Here are some key points about Viagra. More detail is in the main article. Viagra was initially designed to treat hypertension and angina pectoris. Viagra's main competitors are Cialis (tadalafil) and Levitra (vardenafil). Viagra pills are blue and diamond-shaped. Individuals with kidney disease should not take Viagra. Some people use Viagra recreationally, although it is not thought to have any benefit for people without penile dysfunction.

I am suffering from involuntary ejaculation. But now I feel difficultly in erection. What should I do.
A man has erection problems if he cannot get or keep an erection that is firm enough for him to have sex. Erection problems are also called erectile dysfunction or impotence. Most men have erection problems every now and then. This is normal. These problems can occur at any age. But they are more common in older men, who often have other health problems. Treatment can help both older and younger men. Erection problems can have many causes. These include: Physical problems, such as injury to nerves or loss of blood supply to the penis camera. Gif. Other health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression. Side effects of certain medicines. Stress. Drinking too much alcohol or smoking. Surgery, such as for prostate cancer. The only symptom of an erection problem is being unable to get and keep an erection that is firm enough to have sex. But even with an erection problem, a man may still have sexual desire and be able to have an orgasm and to ejaculate. Your doctor can find out if you have an erection problem by asking questions about your health and doing a physical exam. Your doctor will want to know how often the problem happens. The exam, lab tests, and sometimes mental health tests can help find out the cause of the problem. Doctors usually start with lifestyle changes and medicines. They usually don't advise surgery or other treatments unless those first steps don't help. Treatment can include: Avoiding tobacco and drugs and limiting alcohol. Talking about the issue with your partner, doing sensual exercises, and getting counseling. Finding and then stopping medicines that may be causing the problem. In some cases you can take a different medicine that doesn't cause erection problems. Taking prescription medicine that can help you get erections. These include pills such as sildenafil (for example, Viagra), tadalafil (for example, Cialis), and vardenafil (for example, Levitra). Check with your doctor to see if it is safe for you to take one of these medicines with your other medicines. These pills can be dangerous if you have heart disease that requires you to take nitroglycerin or other medicines that contain nitrates. Taking medicines and getting counseling for depression or anxiety. Using vacuum devices or getting shots of medicine into the penis. Having surgery to place an implant in the penis.

Behavioral therapy is one possible approach for treating premature ejaculation. Most commonly, the "squeeze technique" is used. If a man senses that he is about to experience premature orgasm, he interrupts sexual relations. Then the man or his partner squeezes the shaft of his penis between a thumb and two fingers. The man or his partner applies light pressure just below the head of the penis for about 20 seconds, lets go, and then sexual relations can be resumed. The technique can be repeated as often as necessary. When this technique is successful, it enables the man to learn to delay ejaculation with the squeeze, and eventually, to gain control over ejaculation without the squeeze. Behavioral therapy helps 60% to 90% of men with premature ejaculation. However, it requires the cooperation of both partners. Also, premature ejaculation often returns, and additional behavioral therapy may be needed. Another possible treatment is prescription medication that helps to delay ejaculation. Delayed orgasm is a common side effect of certain drugs, particularly those used to treat depression. This is true even for men who are not depressed. When this type of medication is given to men who experience premature ejaculation, it can help to postpone orgasm for up to several minutes. Drugs used for this type of treatment include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), such as fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil) or sertraline (Zoloft); and tricyclic antidepressants, such as clomipramine (Anafranil). Some men with premature ejaculation may benefit from drugs called phosphodiesterase inhibitors, such as sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra), and tadalafil (Cialis). A phosphodiesterase inhibitor can be used alone or in combination with an SSRI. One drug should be started at a time, preferably at a low dose. Some men with premature ejaculation also benefit from reducing the stimulation they experience during sex. A number of creams are available that can partially anesthetize (numb) the penis and reduce the stimulation that leads to orgasm. Another option is to use one or more condoms. However, these techniques may interfere with the pleasure experienced during sex.

Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the regular or repeated inability to obtain or maintain an erection. It is analyzed in several ways: Obtaining full erections at some times, such as nocturnal penile tumescence when asleep (when the mind and psychological issues, if any, are less present), tends to suggest that the physical structures are functionally working.[4][5] Other factors leading to erectile dysfunction are diabetes mellitus (causing neuropathy). Causes Drugs (anti-depressants (SSRIs[6]) and nicotine are most common) Neurogenic disorders[7] Cavernosal disorders (Peyronie's disease[8]) Psychological causes: performance anxiety, stress, and mental disorders[9] Surgery[10] Aging. It is four times more common in men aged in their 60s than those in their 40s.[11] Kidney failure Diseases such as diabetes mellitus and multiple sclerosis (MS). While these two causes have not been proven they are likely suspects as they cause issues with both the blood flow and nervous systems. Lifestyle: smoking is a key cause of erectile dysfunction.[12][13] Smoking causes impotence because it promotes arterial narrowing.[14] Surgical intervention for a number of conditions may remove anatomical structures necessary to erection, damage nerves, or impair blood supply. Erectile dysfunction is a common complication of treatments for prostate cancer, including prostatectomy and destruction of the prostate by external beam radiation, although the prostate gland itself is not necessary to achieve erection. As far as inguinal hernia surgery is concerned, in most cases, and in the absence of postoperative complications, the operative repair can lead to a recovery of the sexual life of patients with preoperative sexual dysfunction, while, in most cases, it does not affect patients with a preoperative normal sexual life.[15] ED can also be associated with bicycling due to both neurological and vascular problems due to compression. Treatment depends on the cause. Exercise, particularly aerobic exercise during midlife is effective for preventing ED; exercise as a treatment is under investigation.[20]:6, 18–19 For tobacco smokers, cessation results in a significant improvement.[21] Oral pharmacotherapy and vacuum erection devices are first-line treatments,[20]:20,24 followed by injections of drugs into the penis, and penile implants.[20]:25–26 Oral medication Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors The cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases constitute a group of enzymes that destroy the cyclic nucleotides cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). Phosphodiesterases exist in different molecular forms and are unevenly distributed throughout the body. One of the forms of phosphodiesterase is termed PDE5, and inhibiting PDE5 increases the amount of cGMP available in the blood supply to the penis, thus increasing blood flow. The PDE5 inhibitors sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra) and tadalafil (Cialis) are prescription drugs which are taken orally.[20]:20–21 Topical medication A topical cream combining alprostadil with the permeation enhancer DDAIP has been approved in Canada under the brand name Vitaros as a first line treatment for erectile dysfunction.[22] Injected medication Another treatment regimen is injection therapy. One of the following drugs is injected into the penis: papaverine, phentolamine, and prostaglandin E1.[20]:25 Pumps Main article: penis pump A vacuum erection device helps draw blood into the penis by applying negative pressure. This type of device is sometimes referred to as penis pump and may be used just prior to sexual intercourse. Several types of FDA approved vacuum therapy devices are available with a doctor's prescription. When pharmacological methods fail, a purpose-designed external vacuum pump can be used to attain erection, with a separate compression ring fitted to the penis to maintain it. These pumps should be distinguished from other penis pumps (supplied without compression rings) which, rather than being used for temporary treatment of impotence, are claimed to increase penis length if used frequently, or vibrate as an aid to masturbation. More drastically, inflatable or rigid penile implants may be fitted surgically.

Can Viagra Cause Skin Cancer?

Sildenafil (Viagra), whose function is to inhibit a substance called Phosphodiestarase-5 or PDE5 - was initially used only for the treatment of angina pectoris (a cardiovascular problem) and pulmonary hypertension. Incidentally, it was discovered that it could help the issue of erectile dysfunction too, and thus became hugely popular in the late 1990s. The little blue pill, as it was called, ruled more than 50% of the sexual dysfunction market for more than 15 years. However, as its popularity and usage increased, so did the scientific information about this drug, and now there is an increased speculation that it could be contributing to skin cancer, specifically melanoma. This is considered as one of the most dangerous forms of skin cancer and so the safety of Viagra sildenafil came into question.

Research has shown that users of Viagra sildenafil are at a higher risk for developing melanoma. There are reports stating that about 45 million men are at an increased risk of developing melanoma due to associated Viagra sildenafil use. The risk of developing melanoma was found to increase in men using ED drugs by 21%. Though there is no conclusive proof as yet that sildenafil is the cause, research is increasingly pointing out its role in melanoma. For example, PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) are known to promote melanin synthesis, which may exacerbate melanoma development.

The analysis of biochemical pathways of this correlation suggests that Viagra sildenafil triggers a special biochemical action involving the growth-stimulating cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate (an intracellular signaling molecule) which in turn promotes the growth of malignant melanoma. In normal cases, the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) regulates the cGMP preventing any adverse cellular activity. Sildenafil inhibits the production of this enzyme, and potentiates a specific cGMP-related biochemical mechanism (called cGMP-cGKI pathway) , and thereby contributes to malignant melanoma. This has been proven to happen in mice and is yet to be proven in humans.

However, there are also reports which suggest that this does not happen due to Viagra sildenafil per se, but due to greater exposure to sun, which even otherwise increases the chances of skin cancer in general, and melanoma in particular. The countering theories also say that the population in which skin cancer was detected, comprised mostly of high income individuals who spent a significant amount of time holidaying on beaches and are not connected to the extensive use of Viagra per se.

Therefore, though there is a correlation that has been established, there is no definite proof that Viagra sildenafil causes skin cancer. It is however, advisable to use ED drugs after medical consultation. If a patient has a genetic predisposition to develop melanoma, it is advisable to seek medical advice before the use of ED drugs. Occasional use should not be harmful. Also, when going out in the sun, limiting exposure to direct sun and UV protection should be managed too. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a sexologist.

Impotency In Men - How To Treat It?

Impotency In Men - How To Treat It?

Impotence is not a matter of joke. Medically called erectile dysfunction or ED, this condition affects a man’s ability to perform in bed and achieve or maintain an erection, and/or ejaculate. This condition restricts or completely forbids penetrative sex.

Though impotence can occur in men of all ages, its risk increases with age. The common causes of impotence range from the emotional, psychological to the physical like:

  1. Diabetes: It can causes nerve damage, impairs blood flow and screws up hormone levels.
  2. Neurological and brain degenerative conditions: Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, brain or spinal tumours, multiple sclerosis, stroke and temporal lobe epilepsy can increase the risk for impotence. Men who’ve had prostate gland surgery can also experience nerve damage and impotence.
  3. Medications: Beta-blockers, cancer chemotherapy drugs, CNS depressants as well as stimulants like cocaine can cause ED. Diuretics and Prozac can also depress desire.
  4. Heart problems: Can lead to ED as blood is not pumped all over the body including the penis. Atherosclerosis which causes blockages of arteries is also a cause. High cholesterol and blood pressure both, are associated with an increased risk for impotence.
  5. Depression: It can cause performance anxiety and can lead to drug and alcohol abuse

Treatment

  1. Medications for ED include PDE-5 inhibitors like sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis) and vardenafil (Staxyn, Levitra). These drugs are to be taken 30-60 minutes before sex. However, a doctor must prescribe these drugs after ruling out any heart condition in the patient. Neither are these drugs completely safe. The side effects associated with them include flushing, visual abnormalities, hearing loss, indigestion and headache.
  2. Vacuum erection devices are a mechanical way of producing an erection. They are preferred by men who do not want or cannot use ED drugs. These devices work by making the penis rigid by the use of a vacuum pump sealed around it that draws up blood. The blood is then prevented from leaving the penis by the use of an accompanying rubber band which is rolled to the base of the penis before penetrative sex can begin.
  3. The other treatments include testosterone replacement, blood vessel surgery and psychological counselling. It is especially useful for younger men who become impotent due to anxiety and stress. Alternate therapies like acupuncture have also been very effective for treating impotence. Lifestyle changes like denouncing drugs, smoking and alcohol can improve the condition significantly. So can exercising more and eating healthy.

The good news is that impotence is a treatable condition. But the challenge is not to take it lightly and ignore it because it can signal serious underlying problems like heart disease and diabetes. It is advisable that a man affected by impotence should consult a doctor immediately, even if he thinks it’s just caused by stress or his current partner. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Sexologist.

Know The Reasons Of ED In Diabetes Patients

Erectile dysfunction is a male problem where the person cannot achieve an erection for long enough to enjoy sexual intercourse. This may be caused due to several reasons including hormonal imbalances, stress and anxiety, depression, and the presence of other chronic ailments like cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, to name a few. Diabetes is known to affect this part of the male anatomy in an adverse fashion. As per many medical studies, almost 35% to 75% of the male patients suffering from this condition will end up with erectile dysfunction as a symptom at some point. Read on to know more about erectile dysfunction or impotence, and its link with diabetes.

  1. Causes: So why exactly do men with diabetes land up with erectile dysfunction? This is due to the fact that diabetes often impairs the functions in the vital nerves, blood vessels and several muscles. This hinders the stimulation process which helps in achieving an erection and holding it for long enough. Male nerves and hormones are all linked with this function, which may get hindered due to the presence of diabetes. These hormones and nerves as well as the blood vessels, help in controlling the erection as well, once it has been achieved. When these portions are impaired, there is less blood flow which leads to either non responsiveness or the inability to retain an erection even after a satisfactory response has been achieved.
  2. Oral Medication: Men who are suffering from diabetes and have a problem of getting and holding an erection can turn to oral medication as prescribed by the doctor. The medicines include Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Avanafil or even Vardenafil.
  3. Heart and Medication: Often, diabetes is tied crucially with heart disease. Therefore, before taking any such medication, the patient must get a doctor's opinion regarding the patient’s heart condition. In case there is any heart problem or cardiovascular disease in sight, then the doctor must dissuade the patient from taking any of the above mentioned medicines as it may lead to a fatality. Also, if the patient is already on medication for the heart, then these medicines can cause some serious side effects when they interact with the heart medication.
  4. Other Treatment:Patients who are suffering from diabetes and erectile dysfunction may also try other forms of treatment including intracavernous injection therapy as well as vacuum erection devices without any constriction at play. Also, the patient can be asked to use penile prosthese that are inflatable and malleable.

In many cases, stress is seen as a major problem for people suffering from chronic diseases. Sex therapy can be used by the patient to get over this stress and enjoy a normal sex life without impotence. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Sexologist.

Everything You Need To Know About Erectile Dysfunction!

You are ready for action and suddenly you realise that something is not right... your manhood is not hard. You carry on still, but nothing changes, nothing in fact happens.

If this sounds familiar, you might be suffering from erectile dysfunction. This condition is also known as impotence or ED. Symptoms include erections that are too soft for sexual intercourse, reduced sexual desire or libido.

Erectile dysfunction may sound like a man's worst nightmare. It is quite a normal condition and thankfully easy to treat. If it becomes a persistent problem, lasting for more than a few weeks or months, an appointment from your doctor is advised.

Erection issues can also be a sign of a physical or psychological problem. You can only make things worse by ignoring things. Understanding the cause of the issue can help identify the underlying cause. The male erection is a quite complex and erectile dysfunction can have many causes. Your lifestyle habits may also add to your risk of getting ED.

Which Is The Best Treatment For ED?

Natural Supplements - stress, anxiety and depression are the leading psychological reasons for erectile dysfunction.

Solution: A relaxation exercise, such as yoga, meditation or massage, can help ease symptoms. Many men are now using older ED treatments which are actually been used more than ever. Acupuncture is used to treat erection issues and has shown some positive results. Nearly half of men that have tried this treatment found acupuncture improved the erection quality and overall health.

Some men use pills such as Viagra to help give men a much needed boost but this is only a short-term solution. They can give hard erections, but they can't give men that true desire and women want this too! Medication pills can rob men of their confidence because they ideally want to get hard without relying on pills.

These oral medications include: Tadalafil, Sildenafil and Vardenafil. Erection pills increase the effects of a natural substance called nitric oxide and this is something your body produces naturally. This chemical relaxes muscles in the manhood and enhances the blood flow. This allows a man to get an erection in response to sexual stimulation.

Solution: Other traditional erectile dysfunction treatments include vacuum pumps and surgery. Many men are switching from medications and opting for more natural options. Research has found that some natural remedies can improve ED symptoms.

In recent years, the use of herbs for ED treatment has increased dramatically.
L-arginine is an amino acid naturally present in your body. It helps make nitric oxide. This relaxes blood vessels to facilitate a successful erection and is essential for healthy sexual functioning. Many researchers have studied the effects of L-arginine on erectile dysfunction. Again about half of men with ED using this supplement experienced improvements.

Diet
The food you eat is crucial for better sexual health. Viagra may be a thing of the past, as berries, cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants are rich in flavonoids and these foods can help to boost blood flow.

Solution: Make sure to include these foods in your diet for maximum performance. This will also help improve the quality of a man's sperm, enhance libido and sexual desire.

Exercise
Men with issues down there can reverse their problem without medication.General exercise is necessary for your heart and your erections. Exercise can help men overcome ED and can even prevent it from occurring in the first place.

Solution: Try to allow 20 minutes a day to take a walk or carry out some general exercise. This maybe all you will need to rev up your sex life and make you feel fitter too.
