Telma H Tablet For High Blood Pressure

Hi, I am taking high bp medicines from last dec when my bp was 150/110. I reduced my weight by 20 kg and eating normal food one time a day. I am taking telma 40 and amlodipine 5 mg daily and bp range is 115-130 / 83-90. But when I do brisk walk on an avg speed of 6 kmph. Then I feel very little pain in left hand near elbow and in shoulder. No pain in chest. Echo done in dec 2022 which was normal. Should I worry or can we estimate blockage with these pain in left hand?

Firstly, congratulations on the significant weight loss and the improvement in your blood pressure control. It's excellent that your blood pressure is within a healthier range. The pain you describe in the left hand near the elbow and in the shoulder, especially during brisk walking, could be due to various reasons. However, it's essential to take any chest pain or discomfort seriously and consult with your healthcare provider promptly. Given that you've experienced this pain during physical activity and you have a history of high blood pressure, it's crucial to rule out any cardiovascular concerns. Your normal echocardiogram is a positive indicator, but the pain you describe should be evaluated further. Here are a few considerations: 1. Musculoskeletal causes: pain in the left arm and shoulder could be musculoskeletal in nature, related to strain or overuse during exercise. 2. Cardiovascular causes: while your echo is normal, it's still important to consider other cardiovascular factors. Pain in the left arm can sometimes be associated with reduced blood flow. 3. Nerve impingement: nerve impingement or compression can also cause pain in the arm and shoulder. Since your symptoms have a potential cardiovascular connection, it's advisable to consult with your healthcare provider. They may recommend further cardiovascular evaluations, such as a stress test or additional imaging, to assess the heart's response to exercise. Don't ignore any unusual symptoms, especially during physical activity. It's better to be cautious and have a healthcare professional evaluate your situation. Consider scheduling a private text consult within the app to discuss your symptoms in more detail and receive personalized advice based on your health history.

Hello- your husband is suffering erectile dysfunction may be due to high blood pressure. Men with hypertension are almost twice as likely to have impaired penile blood flow and erectile dysfunction compared to men with normal blood pressure, increasing their risk of heart disease and death. High blood pressure damages artery walls, causing them to harden and narrow, and reducing blood flow to the penis. Just like physical and mental health, sexual health is also of great importance. Both men and women suffer from sexual problems but they are embarrassed to even discuss it freely, leave alone visit the doctor. Proper medicines along with proper lifestyle habits can solve the problem and help in leading a healthy sexual life. Persons suffering from metabolic disorders must be treated with a different approach. Modern medicines are not effective in sexual weakness if the patient is suffering from any metabolic disease like diabetes, hypertension etc. Only ayurveda has an answer (and specialised medicines) which can boost up sex life of persons suffering from serious metabolic disorders.

1.Use Deep Breathing Deep breathing is another effective way to relieve stress and anxiety. It helps you with physical symptoms such as shallow breathing and rapid heart rate, and it also helps with controlling your thoughts. When you practice deep breathing, you're forced to take your thoughts off of whatever is causing you anxiety and to focus on the breathing technique that you are using. 2.Keep A Journal Journaling can be an effective way to deal with your anxiety and to find relief. It helps you to take all of the things that are rolling around in your head and get them out of your head and down on paper. Sometimes seeing the things that we're worried about on paper can help us to see that they're not as big of a deal as we thought they were. It can also help us to find solutions that we have been overlooking. 3.Hang Out With Friends If you're struggling with anxiety, sometimes the last thing that you want to do is go hang out with your friends. Even if it's an activity that you enjoy with people that you like, the thought of it can be stressful. Your brain already feels overwhelmed with things that you feel you need to figure out, and it can seem like a bad use of time to do something fun. 4. Exercise, Find What Works For You : You might be tired of hearing about how great exercise is for your health. But, the reason you hear about it so much is that there's no way around it. Exercise it's good for both your physical body and for your mind.Getting regular exercise has been proven to help you sleep better at night, clear your head, and boost your mood. It's a great way to use up all that pent-up energy that you have in a way that's going to benefit you in multiple areas of your life.

I am 72 y/f .dm2 for 10 years, dyslipidemia. I started telma 20 after which my bp started coming between 118-124/66-72. I stopped telma. My bp remained 124-128/ 76 for 02 week without medication. From last 02 days my bp is 130-139/ 74-79. Someone suggested that I should start with amlodipine 2.5 mg instead of telma. No cad or other med problem.

Telma is considered good with patients with diabetes and that's why doctor suggested. people just see mg of medicine and believe that telma 40 mg is too high dose than amlodopine 2.5mg. which is very wrong please don't follow random suggestions. the blood pressure at this range can be managed without medicines also. try salt restricted diet. yoga and pranayama. or take Homoeopathic treatment.
