I am 10wk pregnant now .first 7wk I was fine I was not taking susten200 mg tablet .after that my Dr. said to take tablet susten after taking I am bleeding some times is that side effect of susten tablet should I continue or not.

Hi I don't know the reason why your doctor prescribed susten. Susten is a pregnancy supporting hormone given in a capsule form. Pregnancy supporting hormones won't cause bleeding, infact aids in decreasing or stopping bleed. Consult us online if in any doubt. Regards.

I am 36 years old. N 23 weeks pregnancy with cervical cerclage due to cervical length 2 cm. Doctor suggested to keep susten 200 vaginally. Gyne told to get up only for pee or eating. I want to ask can I have proluton 500 weekly? N is there any need to keep pillows under feet? Can I sit for some time? As it is hard to lie straight on bed for long hours or whole day.

Susten will have better effect then proluton in terms of supporting your pregnancy, however if you donât want to keep it vaginally, you can buy oral preparations of the same and take it like a tablet. Your gynaecologist has advised you bed rest as your cervical length is less, however sitting reclining or lying in lateral position for sometime and doing normal activities should be okay. Avoid any exertion, strenuous activities and constipation.

Follow doctors advice. As such no problem. When you paid a doctor she advised the correct method. Now you ask on open platform. Gone is gone no body can help. Gynaecologist count the day. On line plateform the answer is okkk or no problem. No history of ovulation etc. So chalega.

Around 12 days after embryo transfer you can get bhcg levels tested which would confirm pregnancy. If abdomen is feeling very tight, do consut your doctor. Progesterone can cause constipation.
