Hello, you can try take tab TRAPIC 500mg thrice a day first. This is not a hormonal tablet. Will not affect the baby. It will affect the quality or quantity of breast milk either.

Dear lybrate-user these are hormonal pills preferably to be avoided during breastfeeding as you can pass the hormones to the baby also. This small exposure of 4 days will not harm the baby but this should not be taken frequently, better avoided. Ask your gynaecologist for a better substitute.

It is common not to get a period or scanty period or delayed periods when breastfeeding is going on. So during this time, it is important to use reliable family planning method so that either you are not worried about pregnancy now and then or don’t miss diagnosing pregnancy early. Primolut n is not harmful while feeding. Anytime one stops primolut within few days may get withdrawal bleeding.
