You should not stop medicines rather you should decrease the dose of levipil to only evening dose. Also you should go for eeg to rule out hidden seizures in the brain.

You can make frisium half in the morning and half at night for about 2 weeks and the make it half at night and stop. But do this under medical advise from your treating doctor and not on your own, as he/ she will be knowing the pros and cons of the same. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user, it is good that you have not had any seizures after 2019 august. Unfortunately you have not mentioned the findings of ct/ mri. Mostly if the lesions have cleared the chances of seizure recurrence decrese with time. The chances of having a seizure are likely to be very minimal now. Many a times we stop the medication after such a long seizure free period but that decision can be taken after reviewing the initial imaging and a present imaging. The feeling that you have of occurence of seizure does not rquire anything. Do not worry about it.

Hello, the medication is able to control the epilepsy is a very good sign. The need is to continue in the follow up and take the medicines regularly. Unfortunately you have not mentioned the kind of epilepsy he has been diagnosed with. The treatment depends upon the kind / classification of epilepsy which is based on clinical, eeg and genetic profile etc. I suggest you follow up with the neurologist and clarify the dosage and be under follow up. Switching to homeopathic treatment is not a good idea and I suggest you should follow up with a neurologist.
