Fungal infections in the groin and buttocks are commonly referred to as ringworm, jock itch or tinea cruris. They occur when certain types of fungi, such as dermatophytes, grow and multiply in warm and moist areas of the body, like the groin. Symptoms of a fungal infection in the groin may include: red, itchy rash: the affected area often becomes red, itchy, and inflamed. The rash may have well-defined edges and small, raised blisters or scales. Itching and burning: the rash can cause intense itching and a burning sensation, which can be uncomfortable. Peeling or cracking skin: the skin in the groin area may become dry, flaky, or start to peel. Odor: fungal infections can sometimes cause an unpleasant odor. If the symptoms persist or worsen despite self-care measures, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist. They can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include prescription-strength antifungal medications.

I have a fungal infection termed crp. I had consulted a few doctors and landed up on glyco 12% cream for the neck and back and glyco 6% cream for the face. These two worked for me well to control the recurrence. But once in a while, I get affected by the infection. During that situation, I use anti-fungal creams like kz cream on my neck till the infection reduces. Now I am looking for any safe anti-fungal cream that I can use for my face when the infection occurs on my face. Adding can I use kz itself for my face, is it safe for sensitive skin? Kindly suggest.

Fungal infections on skin are the most common of all and are 100% curable by homeopathic treatment. I advise you to stop allopathic treatment as it gives temporary results only with lots of side effects, it will recur once you stop medicines .when does itching gets worse? Pain / burning after scratching? Any discharge? Homeopathic treatment cures it from roots without side effects. No chance of recurrence. You can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

Ring worm infection recurring is due to reincection from unhygeinic toilets ;dresses -especially undergarments-which you have not dipped in hot water for 5 minutes and dried for reuse; from your close contacts who are having ring worm infection etc. Improving personal hygeine by above methods is the only way to avoid reinfection.

Hii, if it is jock's itch and you have been continuing above medications, then you're on the right track. There are many conditions which can mimic the same. I advise you to consult a dermatologist offline or online. By looking at the skin lesions, we can properly diagnose and advise you the next right step accordingly.

You can try this wash the affected skin two to three times a day. Keep the affected area dry.Avoid excess affected skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your affected area, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated affected area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol can help kill off the fungus that's on the surface level of the skin.
