Hello, femilon restores the hormone fluctuations and helps with acne control, dysmenoorhea in the process. Withdrawal does lead to sever acne falring in a lot of patients. Advise you to take care of dietg and fitness first and foremost. And use prescription based sebum regulating cleansers. There are some meds that are good for hormonal acne on which you can plan pregnancy also.
Lower amounts of estrogen are associated with lesser side effects. Femilon has the least amount of estrogen and hence lesser side effects. It's better not to continue ocps after 40 years of age.
