Duvadilan 10 MG Tablet During Pregnancy

Hello lybrate-user, pain in the mons can be normal in pregnancy as the ligaments of body relax especially around mons causing pain. Many times duvadilon gets prescribed for something that's completely normal. It can also be a sign of miscarriage, labour as well as infection of urine. It all depends on how your pregnancy has been so far, how were the past pregnancies. Has there been any leaking or bleeding so far. How is your urine report. However complete bed rest can be dangerous, can cause clots in legs. One is advised to not do heavy work, lift objects, bend forwards like when sweeping floor, sexual intercourse but that's it. Doesn't mean one should be in strict bed rest.

You can continue the same though I personally would prefer susten and duphaston and not duvadilan.

Tab duvadilan is a tocolytic agent ,it relaxes the uterus, it's given to patients who are having premature uterine contractions. Duvadilan can be safely taken during pregnancy ,if you're having decreased fetal movements then eat something and lie on your left laterally, count your fetal movements ,if you have 3-4 fetal movements in 30 minutes then it's fine .if you do not feel fetal movement or decreased fetal movements then contact your doctor.

Truat your doctor... Tou must be having some problems thatswhy your doctor has started these medicines.. These are safe in pregnancy

Hello.. Very frankly at 17 weeks of pregnancy apart from iron and calcium, nothing is required.. There is no role of duvadilan , it’s better to be avoided.. Susten is often prescribed upto 12 weeks of pregnancy till placenta develops completely to decrease the risk of miscarriage.. However in cases which are at risk of preterm labour, progesterone ( susten) is often continued throughout pregnancy..

Hi. The pain is because of the fibroid. Continue using those two medicine which is sage in pregnancy. Kindly add on mivronised progestrone also. This is a critical situvation that we need to handle. All we need is to push our pregnancy to a viable state.

fibroid size usually increase during pregnancy .you should take adequate rest ,restrict your activity. avoid prolonged standing . keep yourself hydrated . continue taking medicines as advised by your doctor. there is a slight increased risk of preterm delivery. follow your doctor's advice all will be fine

All these injection and medicines are safe and aimed to prolong the pregnancy. So kindly push your preganancy till 37 completed weeks.

Hi, duvadilan tablet is not harmful to the baby. It can be taken as per ur doctor’s advice. How long to be continued, u need to discuss it with ur gynecologist
