It is not to be used on face. Pimples, also known as acne, are primarily caused by a combination of factors involving the skin's oil glands, hair follicles, bacteria, and hormonal changes. Here are some of the common causes of pimples: 1. Excessive sebum production: sebum is an oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands in the skin. When the sebaceous glands produce too much sebum, it can clog the hair follicles, leading to the formation of pimples. 2. Clogged pores: the hair follicles or pores can become clogged with dead skin cells, dirt, and other debris. When this happens, it creates an environment where bacteria can thrive, causing inflammation and resulting in pimples. 3. Bacterial activity: the skin is home to bacteria, including propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes). This bacterium feeds on the sebum produced by the skin and can multiply rapidly in clogged hair follicles, leading to inflammation and the formation of pimples. 4. Hormonal changes: hormonal fluctuations, particularly during puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause, can increase sebum production and alter the normal functioning of the skin. This hormonal imbalance can contribute to the development of pimples. 5. Diet: while the relationship between diet and acne is not fully understood, some studies suggest that certain foods, such as high-glycemic-index carbohydrates and dairy products, may worsen acne in susceptible individuals. However, more research is needed to establish definitive links. 6. Stress: stress can aggravate acne or contribute to its development. High-stress levels may increase inflammation in the body, leading to acne flare-ups. 7. Medications: some medications, such as corticosteroids, androgenic steroids, and certain anticonvulsants, may cause acne as a side effect. 8. Cosmetic products: certain makeup, skincare products, and hair styling products that are comedogenic (tend to clog pores) can contribute to the development of pimples. It's important to note that the causes and severity of acne can vary from person to person, and treating acne effectively often requires a tailored approach based on individual factors. If you're experiencing persistent or severe acne, it's advisable to consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Lifestyle change is the only way to gain weight. Diet is based on your daily routine and eating habits. You can follow the guidelines given below- 1) weight is a sum total of bone, water, muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy. Immunity of the body is based on muscles and so its important to have optimal muscle mass. 2) have a well balanced diet which has the right combination of carbohydrate, protein and fat. 3) eat 6-8 meals a day as the muscle losses will not happen. 4) have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like banana or mango milkshake, mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis, soya or paneer veg rolls etc. 5) include high biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- milk, curd, paneer, meat, fish, eggs etc. 6) include essential fats like almonds, walnut, pistachios, flaxseeds etc. 7) eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. 8) do not fast or overeat as this will not help. 9) hydrate optimally by having a glass of water every hour to flush out toxins and prevent weight loss due to dehydration. 10) sleep of 9-10 hours is very crucial to gain muscle and weight.

My wife had taken cyclopam as she has stomach ache, she is breastfeeding a 3 month infant. Now I checked that cyclopam should not be given to breastfeeding women as in some cases it causes apnea in baby. She just took one dose, it is really harmful and serious? What steps do we need to take.

Hydrogen peroxide can be used only under the supervision of a professional only. The symptom of bleeding gums warrants referral to a periodontist or an appropriately qualified dental surgeon. - use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a "water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

After having a baby, your periods will return at your body's own pace. If you are breastfeeding your baby, your periods may not return for months or even years after childbirth.
