Clobeta Gm Cream For Fungal Skin Infection

The thumb pad on my right itches constantly. I have used several otc medicines like physiogel ai, clobeta gm etc but to no avail. This area is darker in colour and is quite dry. Due to acute itching I need to scratch sometimes thereby making it bloody. Please suggest some permanent relief. I have asthma and am unable to take any allergy medicines like cetrizine etc.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, cloben g betnovate, dermikem oc, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Do not use steroid containing combination creams. Please contact me using online consult option with photos for detailed prescription. Do not delay treatment as it may spread further on your body and also to other people living in the household.

Dear lybrate-user. Do not apply clobeta gm. Have this rash checked out by a qualified dermatologist at the earliest (either in person or via online consultation) so it can be examined and a proper diagnosis formulated. Treatment depends on the cause. Unfortunately, there is no one cream or tab that can cure all causes of itching, so I urge you to consult a dermatologist at the earliest.

Good afternoon. If you have have 'jock itch' you have made it much worse by self medicating with clobeta and betamethasone creams. Oral medication is most likely necessary. Consult a qualified dermatologist to ensure proper examination and treatment. Unfortunately, if it is extensive jock itch, no home remedies will work.

You may be suffering from fungal infection of the inner thighs groin and buttocks area which we call tinea cruris. This is commonly referred as jock itch. It is easily treatable by taking 4 to 6 weeks of treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Wrong treatment with over the counter creams like lobate gm, fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi 5, betnovate dermikem oc candid b, hh zole leads to severe side effects and also repeated recurrences. Please do not use super body wash over the affected areas. Do not use steroid containing combination creams. Please contact me using online consultation for detailed prescription. Do not delay treatment as it may spread for the on your body and also to other people living in the household.

U can try this. The condition most often occurs when people wear tight-fitting clothing that traps in moisture. U can try this— Wash the affected skin two to three times a day. Keep the affected area dry. Avoid excess affected skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your affected area, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated affected area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol can help kill off the fungus that's on the surface level of the skin. You can apply it directly to the affected area Listerine: It has antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help treat skin problem Here are some tips to help you manage the infection: Avoid using oily skin products. Reduce your exposure to the sun. Exposure to the sun may trigger or worsen an episode, and a tan makes the rash more visible. Do not wear tight clothing. Wear breathable fabrics, such as cotton, to decrease sweating.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user, please stop clobeta gm cream immediately as it is a steroid cream. Steroid creams reduce inflammation and hence you feel better within 2-3 days but it does not kill the fungal infection. Hence, the infections starts spreading everywhere. Also, steroid creams can damage your skin if used inappropriately. With hypertension at such young age of 26 years, I sincerely suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get treated properly. Take care!
