Reduce ciplar to 10 mg and then take only as needed. Stopping suddenly can cause rebound increase in heart rate and anxiety. Continue nexito regularly as advised by your doctor.

I was prescribed ciplar la 20 by a physician as my heart was beating fast at that time and I tend to overthink a lot which causes little anxiety. I have been taking it in the morning since 2 days and nexito ls at night. I have been feeling really nauseous in between and little lightheaded. Is this normal? And he recommended me to take it for 10 days. Is it fine? Will it cause any issues to me?

Yes the side-effects you mentioned are common with nexito, usually it improves over 1-2 weeks. If still continuing, discuss with your doctor to change the medication.

1. Take adequate night sleep 2. Eat at regular intervals. As starvation/gas can trigger migrain 3. Avoid things that can trigger migrain. Common triggers include alcohol, caffeine or poor sleep. Inculcate good sleep practices like having a regular bedtime schedule and avoiding naps, caffeine and tv before bedtime. 4. Don't take stress- pursue an enjoyable activity or verbalising frustration to reduce stress and improve mental health. 5. Avoid foods that you know triggers your migrain. 6. Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect 7. Drink water. “dehydration can be a big cause of headaches,” for this homeopathic treatment is very effective for more details you can consult me.

Hello lybrate-user! it must be quite distressing for kriti as she has a presentation in some days and I would suggest her to reach out to a counselling psychologist/psychotherapist and work through her concerns in therapy sessions as that might be quite helpful to her to work on this viewing a long term aspect to her concerns. I am on anti anxiety medicine since a year now. Currently taking ciplar la 20 and beta anxit 20. I get tightness in head around my medicine time of day, it gets better when I take the medicine. Also I feel same tightness in head and slight breathlessness after pooping. This pooping thing doesn't happens every time, if pooping is of urgent type or if I go to poop frequently like in gap of a hour (specially in morning time). Some days it gets very bad that even it takes 4-5 hours to calm the body. Is it normal with anxiety disorder or my medicine is not enough for my condition? I did check my heart rate on mobile app like mine and most of the time in lying state it was around 75-80 and sometimes rarely one or two times a day if I move around or wakes up after day sleep it goes max upto 100. My ecg told sinus tachycardia and echo is normal.

You need to find the reasons for the headache, it is uncommon in anxiety. It can be stress headache, migraine, etc. Ciplar is safe, but take as per your psychiatrist advise. Good luck.

Yes you guessed it right. It is a beta blocker which is usually used as an anti-hypertensive. But, it is a drug which decreases the sympathetic hyperdrive which is a common phenomenon in any anxiety disorder. In your case, it helps in decreasing sweating, shaking of hands, dry mouth and rapid breathing if at all you are facing such problems.

Distract yourself. Do the dishes, turn on the tv, take a shower, or call a friend. The activity doesn’t matter as long as it gets your mind off smoking. Remind yourself why you quit. Focus on your reasons for quitting, including the health benefits (lowering your risk for heart disease and lung cancer, for example), improved appearance, money you’re saving, and enhanced self-esteem. Get out of a tempting situation. Where you are or what you’re doing may be triggering the craving. If so, a change of scenery can make all the difference. Reward yourself. Reinforce your victories. Whenever you triumph over a craving, give yourself a reward to keep yourself motivated. Find an oral substitute – keep other things around to pop in your mouth when cravings hit. Try mints, carrot or celery sticks, gum, or sunflower seeds. Or suck on a drinking straw. Keep your hands busy – squeeze balls, pencils, or paper clips are good substitutes to satisfy that need for tactile stimulation. Brush your teeth – the just-brushed, clean feeling can help banish cigarette cravings. Drink water – slowly drink a large glass of water. Not only will it help the craving pass, but staying hydrated helps minimize the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. Get active – go for a walk, do some jumping jacks or pushups, try some yoga stretches, or run around the block. Try to relax – do something that calms you down, such as taking a warm bath, meditating, reading a book, or practicing deep breathing exercises go somewhere smoking is not permitted – step into a public building, store, mall, coffee shop, or movie theatre, for example. Deep breathe. Breathe in slowly through your nose for a count of three and exhale through your mouth for a count of three. Visualize your lungs filling with fresh air.
