Hello lybrate-user, I understand your concern. Recurrent infection with treatment and persisting symptoms mean is are suffering from recurrent candidal or yeast infection. This will require long term treatment. Also there maybe added infections on to of the candidal infection which is preventing it from getting cured completely. But first we need to find out the reason for recurrent fungal infection. Hence it's important check your blood count and sugar levels (uncontrolled blood sugar will cause reccurent infection which is resistant to treatment. So my advice would be to do both tests before starting treatment. Hope this was helpful. And for more information and treatment kindly revert back. My personal code is plb9cb.
