Ink betnesol is given for fetal lung maturity . It's given if doctor anticipates preterm delivery ,it has to be given atleast 24 hrs of delivery ,as it's action starts after 24hrs. As you're having twin pregnancy that's why your doctor must have advised you should take it

Steroid injections do increase blood sugar levels. Keep a watch on the sugars. It's been 4 weeks since the injections. It would not show effect now.

It is not just one factor like period or weeks or stone or pain which can decide when is good time for your delivery. All factors have to be taken in account and comparision have to be made for possible problems of delivering earlier against allowing pregnancy to proceed. That is why leaqve to examining specialists.

I am 31 year old. I am suffering from Vitiligo since 5 years. Initially I had 2-3 spots only. During my pregnancy after 4 years, it got increased to 5-6 spots, that time I was taking Ayurvedic treatment with not much improvement. Later on I had taken Homeopathic treatment it got widespread covering 40% of my body parts. Its mainly on face, hands and upper portion. Recently, 2 months back I started Allopathy treatment in which Imoprine (50 mg) 2 tabs daily, Betnesol Forte (1.0 mg) 5 tabs on every saturday and sunday and Flutivate Cream to be applied every night has been prescribed. Is this the correct treatment and what are the side effects of the above mentioned medicines?

Hello lybrate-user, Vitiligo is a genetic disorder trigger by indigestion and stressful conditions. There was always confusion in patients mind regarding choosing right treatment approach for vitiligo. Allopathy can give quick results but is not very safe for long term uses if steroids are used. Homeopathic is safe but very slow and in most of cases it can not stop the spread of disease i.e old patches shows some recovery but new white patches continue to come even when we are using Homeopathy. If one think about using Ayurveda there is no good vaidya who is expertise in vitiligo. At our clinic we have integrated external Allopathic applications with internal Ayurvedic medication to give fast and long lasting results. Ayurvedic herbal medicines are used to purify blood and stop the spread of disease and external application are capable of quickly start regimentation. With a expertise in treating thousands of patients in past years. Kayakalp global is leading skin clinic in india to treat vitiligo. For detail replies regarding 1. Causes of vitiligo 2. Is it genetic or can it spread to next generation 3. Causes of spread of disease after it remains stable for some years 4. Should we use homeopathy, allopathy or ayurveda. You can contact us via Lybrate for details. You can send pictures of vitiligo effected parts via whatsapp. We will review your case and will guide you best possible treatment and time frame required.
