Prenoxid 200Mg Tablet is a suppressant drug and antitussive for non productive cough, as it works in the respiratory tracts to reduce impulses. It is used for treatment, cure and prevention for the said medical complication. Acute respiratory viral infection, bronchitis, pharyngitis, asthma etc give rise to dry cough, which is repulsive in nature. Prenoxid 200Mg Tablet works by blocking the peripheries of cough reflex. It has some local anesthetic characteristics as well. It is administered orally, usually as tablets and works for about 4 hours.

The contraindications of Prenoxid 200Mg Tablet includes bronchial secretions, and hypersensitivity to it. If any dosage is missed then it should be taken as soon as remembered, but if it is already time for the next dose then can be skipped.

Constipation, skin rash, allergies, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, are some of the side effects of Prenoxid 200Mg Tablet which are rare, but may happen when overdosed, or patient is particularly allergic to it.
