This medication is composed of Methylcobalamin, commonly known as Vitamin B-12. A lack of this vitamin can cause severe and permanent neurological damage. The injection is used by patients who suffer from a gut disease where they are unable to completely absorb Methylcobalamin and may be at risk of vitamin B-12 deficiency.
The drug improves the functioning of the brain and nervous system. It is responsible for the protection and regeneration of neurons.
