The drug prevents the binding of dihydrotestosterone into the receptors, located at the prostatic carcinoma cell. Ethinyl Estradiol is a semisynthetic estrogen which enters the cells and binds to the estrogen receptors and forms a complex that enters the cell nucleus and bind to the DNA. Folic acid helps in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine which are necessary for the production of blood and its component.
