About Doxomax XP 400mg/30mg Tablet
This is a combination medication which has Doxofylline and Ambroxol as active ingredients. It is a xanthine derivative drug used in the treatment of asthma and other obstructive diseases. This medication is a potent bronchodilator and helps relax the smooth muscles of the airway leading to the lung.
This medication is used as a maintenance treatment for wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness associated with lung diseases like asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and other diseases related to the respiratory system.
No habit forming tendencies are found. The is a newer generation of Xanthine Bronchodilator or in simpler words an inhaler. It does not have major Cardiovascular Adverse effects. Differing from its predecessors it is relatively safer and has fewer drug on drug interaction.
