Bromhexine 8Mg Tablet is used as a medicine to support the body's mechanisms for clearing mucus from the respiratory tract. It treats chest congestion. They belong to a group of medications called mucolytics, which work by breaking mucus down so that it is easier to cough out. Therefore, Bromhexine 8Mg Tablet is added to cough syrups to treat cough.

Possible side effects of Bromhexine 8Mg Tablet may include nausea, diarrhoea rash, angioedema, pruritus, urticaria, sweating, dizziness, vomiting, headache and pain in the upper part of abdomen. Patients with a history of peptic ulceration, asthma and severe hepatic or renal impairment should take extra precautions during their treatment with this medicine.

This medication comes in the form of a tablet and a liquid. The tablets are usually taken 3 times daily, with plenty of liquid and after meals. The liquid form can be given 2 to 4 times per day. The dosage is adapted to the need of the patients and it varies with the age and weight. Bromhexine 8Mg Tablet is well established and tolerated in the body.

Most often it's viral infection. Fever usually settles down in 3 to 4 days. Cough takes 7 to 10 days. Continue same treatment. Small children get frequent infections because of low immunity.

I have thrombocytopenia nd sore throat always with headache ND sleeplessness .I have been prescribed with desloratadine 5 mg, bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mcg ND budesonide nasal spray. I can't find anything for platelets. Also PNS waters test is been done after dat all dis was prescribed.
