This medication is given to patients suffering from angina or had a major heart attack. It is basically a platelet aggregation inhibitor and works by slowing down the platelets so that they don’t stick to injured tissues and blood vessels.

The tablet should not be consumed in case you have any history of bleeding problems or liver problems. Consult a doctor if you are taking any antifungals such as ketoconazole, voriconazole, itraconazole or certain macrolide antibiotics and certain protease inhibitors.
