Hi. Thanks for the query. You are malnourished and your diet needs to be taken care of. Just cutting out foods or going on a crash diet will not help. You need to have a well balanced healthy nutritious diet to maintain weight as well as health. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take a glass of lime water 10 minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Where did you get the test done? They must have written the normal values also and if a value is low or high than the normal the it is marked with a star etc. You should show to a physician near you.

based on ur reports following things are inferred: -HbA1c is a bit high(should be around 7 in a diabetic to qualify for a good control). fasting and pp sugar levels are required before any medicines could be prescribed for that. And also u have not mentioned whether she is taking any oral antidiabetics -Her weight is 80 kg which is approx.20-25 kg higher for her height..she needs to get her weight reduced by following a strict exercise schedule..Also certain anti diabetic drugs like metformin helps in weight reduction. -vitamin D levels are severely reduced..Give her tablet D rise (60,000 IU) daily for 6 days then weekly for 6 weeks thereafter once monthly. -total cholesterol is raised.U have not mentioned about the LDL levels of cholesterol ,which is more important. For that drugs like statins have to be started in dose of 10 mg once a day -U have not mentioned about her BP.Probably certain antihypertensives would be required to lower her bp if found raised..

If anemia is observed, RDW test results are often used together with mean corpuscular volume (MCV) results to determine the possible causes of the anemia. Increased RBC can be linked to secondary causes, such as, chronic hypoxia or tumors releasing erythropoietin. Polycythemia vera is due to abnormally increased red cell production in the bone marrow.
