no treatments can cure the hep a, b, or c except interferon therapy which has very low success rate, many side effects and limited applicability. Lft test is prescribed to check liver function to be sure body is healing. Dont drink alcohol as it is very harmful to liver. Dont take prescription or over-the-counter drugs without consulting doctor. Viral count can be reduced using antiviral drugs like tenofovir or lamivudine based upon the condition and history of the patient also get tested for other types of hepatitis. Get vaccinated for the type of hepatitis that you havent been exposed to or you may get multiple hepatitis which finally leads to liver cancer. Untreated hepatitis finally may lead to cirrhosis or cancer of liver hence immediate treatment of hepatitis is recommended do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

helps simplex virus (1+2) Igm is shown 0.50 (Non reactive) after 4 months of exposure. But herpes simplex virus (1+2) Igg shows 14.90 (reactive) Does it means I have herpes on recent times or having herpes on childhood? Is the virus turned to HIV disease or Body sores only? Is the virus goes to partner on sex?

This virus can not turn into HIV. Different virus though one may have both. IgG positive & IgM suggests you were exposed in past but no recent infection

You need to go for final investigation. If it comes negative and you are asymptomatic it means you are free of it. But if it comes positive and you are asymptomatic, then you can be carrier for that virus.

nothing to worry as in 90% cases hep b virus remains latent ... HBV DNA levels above 1 lac demand oral treatment with entacavir.... also if the liver enzymes are raised 3 times (sgot/pt).... but whether ur wife needs treatment or not can be advised on seeing her liver function tests reports....also whether she has any yellow discoloration of eyes or not etc

What the symptom for zika virus & how to overcome it? Some few days onwards I feel very mental depression please help...
1. Practice mindfulness a depressed mind tends to mull over all that is wrong and worries unnecessarily about all the negative possibilities that may emerge in the future. This negative thought cycle reinforces misery and is not helpful in managing to overcome depression. Mindfulness involves focusing on the present moment and is a skill that needs to be practiced. More often than not, our brains are full of thoughts and focusing on the present moment seems unnatural for our minds. Practice on engaging your senses in the moment. Focus on touch, taste, sight, sound and smell. Engaging the senses leaves less time for worry. 2. Listen to upbeat music I have always thought of music as food for the soul. An upbeat tune can change an atmosphere instantly and create a more positive vibe. Listening to upbeat, happy music alters brain chemistry and can improve your mood. 3. Use touch science shows that touch therapies can help some people overcome depression, lower the stress hormone cortisol and increase the feel-good hormone oxytocin. Therapies to consider include acupuncture, acupressure, massage, reiki and reflexology. 4. Include omega 3 fatty acids in your diet research has shown that depressed people often lack a fatty acid known as epa. Participants in a 2002 study featured in the archives of general psychiatry took just a gram of fish oil each day and noticed a 50-percent decrease in symptoms such as anxiety, sleep disorders, unexplained feelings of sadness, suicidal thoughts, and decreased sex drive. Omega-3 fatty acids can also lower cholesterol and improve cardiovascular health. Get omega-3s through walnuts, flaxseed and oily fish like salmon or tuna.

what is the precaution to prevent it.
About Ebola - Ebola is a rare but deadly virus that causes bleeding inside and outside the body. As the virus spreads through the body, it damages the immune system and organs. Ultimately, it causes levels of blood-clotting cells to drop. This leads to severe, uncontrollable bleeding. The disease, also known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever or Ebola virus, kills up to 90% of people who are infected. Ebola isn’t as contagious as more common viruses like colds, influenza, or measles. It spreads to people by contact with the skin or bodily fluids of an infected animal, like a monkey, chimp, or fruit bat. Then it moves from person to person the same way. Those who care for a sick person or bury someone who has died from the disease often get it. Prevention - There’s no vaccine to prevent Ebola. The best way to avoid catching the disease is by not traveling to areas where the virus is found. Health care workers can prevent infection by wearing masks, gloves, and goggles whenever they come into contact with people who may have Ebola.

If rota virus and pcv vaccination of 1.5 month was missed on due date than how many days we can have this.
It is always recomended to give the vaccines in time. If somehow it is missed it can be given upto 14 weeks of age and PCV you can give upto 5 yrs. But as early as you give it will protect your child more from those diseases.
