Can you please tell me which of the wbc hiv virus usually target out of the lymphocytes and monocyte.
The main cause of getting infected from hiv is unprotected sex. Hiv is a virus that lives in human blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk. It weakens your immune system, so your body has a hard time fighting off common germs, viruses, fungi, and other invaders. Hiv doesn't live in saliva, tears, pee, or sweat -- so it can't be spread by casual contact with these body fluids. If still in doubt, connect with me via call for right consultation. It’s recommended that you test for hiv and other sexually transmitted infections (stis) at least once a year if you’re having sex, even if you always use protection. You might want to test more regularly than this, for example, if you are having sex with a new partner or feel you are more at risk. Groups who are more at risk are recommended to test more regularly. Testing every 3-6 months is often advised for men who have sex with men. Testing regularly helps keep your mind at rest, and if you test positive, it means you can start treatment quickly, protecting your health.

In 1999, a strain of SIV (called SIVcpz) was found in a chimpanzee that was almost identical to HIV in humans. The researchers who discovered this connection concluded that it proved chimpanzees were the source of HIV-1, and that the virus had at some point crossed species from chimps to humans.3 The same scientists then conducted more research into how SIV could have developed in the chimps. They discovered that the chimps had hunted and eaten 2 smaller species of monkeys (red-capped mangabeys and greater spot-nosed monkeys) and became infected with 2 different strains of SIV. The two different SIV strains then joined together to form a third virus (SIVcpz) that could be passed on to other chimps. This is the strain that can also infect humans.

Hpv is the most common sexually transmitted infection. Hpv is so common that nearly all sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives. There are many different types of hpv. Some types can cause health problems including genital warts and cancers. But there are vaccines that can stop these health problems from happening. You can get hpv by having vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has the virus. It is most commonly spread during vaginal or anal sex. Hpv can be passed even when an infected person has no signs or symptoms. Anyone who is sexually active can get hpv, even if you have had sex with only one person. You also can develop symptoms years after you have sex with someone who is infected making it hard to know when you first became infected. In most cases, hpv goes away on its own and does not cause any health problems. But when hpv does not go away, it can cause health problems like genital warts and cancer.
