Normally the kidneys make 1 ml urine per minute which trickles down in the bladder continuosly. This rate varies according to body needs of metabolism, water intake, wheather conditions. Normally bladder gets stretched up when the urine volume accumulates above 250 to 300 milli liters and equal minutes or about 4 to 5 hours. After this time if the person has not already evacuated the bladder, an urge is felt to void the urine, which again depending upon social environment and compulsions can be held for some time. After that urine may leak out as overflow.
