Bronchitis is a respiratory disorder which leads to the swelling of the inner lining of the bronchial tubes which connect to the lungs. The disease can be classified into 2 broad categories viz. acute bronchitis and chronic bronchitis. Acute bronchitis is a condition where the coughing is intense initially, but it will surpass after a few weeks of medication and care. Whereas chronic bronchitis the condition where the coughing is long lasting and repetitive and there are negligible chances of improvement. Its main symptom is chronic coughing of thick mucus.
