एमपोक्सिन सीवी (500 एम जी ) टैबलेट दो दवाओं एमोक्सिसिलिन और क्लैवुलैनीक अम्ल का एक संयोजन है । अमोक्सिसिलिन जीवाणु कोशिका की दीवार के विकास और विभाजन को रोकता है। क्लावुलनिक अम्ल एक बीटा-लैक्टामेज अवरोधक है जो एंटी-बैक्टीरियल गतिविधि को बढ़ाता है। एमपोक्सिन सीवी का उपयोग कान, नाक, गले, श्वसन तंत्र के निचले हिस्से, त्वचा, मूत्र पथ, पेट के अल्सर और फिब्राइल न्यूट्रोपेनिया जैसे विभिन्न प्रकार के जीवाणु संक्रमणों के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है।

This drug is a Penicillin antibiotic and inhibits the transfer of a peptide group in the transpeptidation process. As a result the bacterium is not able to build cell walls and is killed.
