About Pregeb M 75 Capsule
Pregeb capsule contains Methylcobalamin in combination with Pregabalin. Methylcobalamin is one of the most important nutrients required in the human body. A lack of this vitamin can cause severe and permanent neurological damage. Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant and treats neurotic pain, shingles, seizures and fibromyalgia. Therefore, this medication helps in treating diabetic nerve pain, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, restless leg syndrome and generalised anxiety disorder.
This capsule works by binding to a certain region of the brain and reducing the pain signals sent out by the damaged nerves of the body. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must take medical help before using this medication.

How does this medication work?
This capsule acts as a cofactor for enzyme methionine synthase, which transfers methyl groups for the regeneration of methionine from homocysteine. In anemia, it increases blood cell production by promoting nucleic acid synthesis in the bone marrow and by promoting maturation and division of erythrocytes. Pregabalin present in the medicine, is a GABA analog and binds to the voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This causes a reduced release of neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, substance P thus slowing down nerve signals.
