SBL Kreosotum 0/17 LM

Kreosotum is a homeopathic remedy which is a mixture of phenols obtained from distillation of wood tar. It is especially suited to malnourished children, old looking children with poor weight gain. Tendency to bleeding easily in slightest injuries. All complaints are better by warmth and worse in cold weather, washing, bathing .

This is curative for following:

Putrid and foul smelling discharges of all mucus membranes.

Head
Dull headache
Headache especially during menses.
Falling of hair

Eyes
Eye lids are red and swollen
Hot acrid tears

Ears
Buzzing like sound in ears
Difficulty in hearing

Teeth
Excellent for painful dentition in children.
Decay of teeth with spongy bleeding gums.
Teeth decay immediately after erupting.

Stomach
Nausea and Vomiting several hours after eating food.
Loose motions in children with severe pain and bloating of abdomen.

Urinary complaints
Urination on coughing.
Foul smelling smell of urine
Cannot control urine. Burning during and after passing urine. (urinary infection)

Female
Foul smelling discharges from vagina which cause severe itching and yellow stains with odor like green corn .
Violent pain during sexual intercourse followed by blackish discharge later
Flow worse when lying down, stops while sitting . Cold drinks relieve pain.
Acrid white discharge worse in interval between periods

Skin
Tendency to severe corrosive itching especially during evenings

Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
