Chelone glabra is also known as Snake head due to the peculiar shape of its leaves. The aerial parts of this plant are used for preparing this homeopathic remedy. This is a wonderful remedy for liver and gall bladder affections.

Liver

Pain and soreness in the region of the liver.
Hepatic diseases like Jaundice
Acidity with hepatic disease
Nausea and Vomiting
This remedy is also excellent for the effects of quinine like weakness and exhaustion. Especially after malarial fevers.

Dosage-15 drops of Chelone glabra mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice each day for 3 months unless otherwise prescribed by the physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.
