Nitra Oral Solution

Nitra oral rinse is a mouthwash that contains an antibacterial agent : metronidazole.

Metronidazole is a potent antibacterial that fights against bacteria and inhibit their growth in the mouth. This reduces the number of oral bacteria as well as susceptibility to develop bacterial infections.

This rinse is used to treat acute gum infections that cause gum swelling and pus formation in gums. It is also used in cases of advanced gum diseases (aggressive periodontal disease) and gum diseases in people with weakened immune system. It also helps to fight bad breath (halitosis) especially that is caused by bacterial infections inside the mouth.

Directions for use:

Rinse the mouth vigorously with undiluted 10ml solution for 1 minute, twice daily (morning and night) and then spit out. Swish the rinse thoroughly inside the mouth before spitting out. It is recommended for 7 to 10days depending on the severity of infection and then it can be discontinued, as its use for long may lead to resistance.
