Exercises, diet control of your underlying conditions are. Very important. Have a check into your uric acid levels also. Have a routine blood test -hb, esr, platelets, creatinine, lft, uric acid and ra factor.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Well you are actually confusing two different issues, one is osteopenia which is decrease in density of bone as compared to normal. Other is osteoarthritis of knees for which you have been prescribed lubrijoint. You can continue with lubrijoint but mainstay of management will remain intensive physical therapy, daily brisk walks for 2-3 km per day, adequate calcium and vitamin d intake and maintaining an active and a healthy lifestyle. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

lybrate-user, You are very young and taking too many medications. According to me Whey is enough. And the best natural way to keep our metabolism running is regular daily exercise (not to overdo) combined with control in diet (again don't overdo. Balance and regularity is required.
