Serum that you have mentioned is unlikely to help. Dark spots on skin may be secondary to acne, sun damage, chicken pox and many more reasons. You need different depigmenting creams for clearance and maintainence. Also you should use a sunscreen regularly. The choice of creams depends on your skin type and pigmentation type. Donot self medicate and consult a dermatologist.
