There are many causes for constipation & gases but agnimandya or digestive impairment is one of the major cause for that. To increase digestive capability you need to follow some dietary advice & medicines.
Do not teat bakery products, fermented foods like idli-dosa, junk-fast food. Also avoid horse gram, oily, spicy, fried food. Avoid drinking water immediately after meal, instead drink water 45 minutes after meal.
Avoid day sleeping, do not eat food while you are not hungry.
Include more dietary fibres in your diet- vegetables, salad etc.
You can try taking gandharva haritaki churna 4 to 5 gm with warm water in night.
