Gelusil MPS Xtracool liquid is a therapeutic digestive medication containing a balanced mix of Aluminium hydroxide, Dimethicone, and Magnesium hydroxide. The Aluminium hydroxide is an antacid, which neutralises increased stomach acid. Dimethicone is an antiflatulent which helps in releasing the gas. Magnesium hydroxide is a laxative that increases water in the intestine and reduces stomach acid. It is also sugar-free and is generally well tolerated.
