Figs help soften hard stool by increasing moisture content of stool.
Rhubarb eases bowel discomfort and at the same time prevents diarrhoea due its astringent action.
Senna given with fibrous Figs eases stools without risk of habit formation or dependence.

Figolax Syrup is sugar free; safe even for diabetic patients.
Figolax Syrup is free from side effects of conventional Laxatives.

Approximately 4-6 gms of sodium is sufficient for your daily needs. This equals about 2 tsps of common salt. 2-3 tsps of sugar can suffice daily, however this should include any sweets, dessert, and your tea, coffee etc. Try to avoid free sugar intake.... instead have dried fruits & fresh fruits.

Mr. Lybrate-user, to prevent diabetes one has to adapt a modified lifestyle. Which means maintain near normal weight, exercise daily for 1 hour or more, take restricted diet giving exact calories based on ideal body weight. Avoid too much of sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, sweetened aerated drinks, sweet corn syrup containing products, high fat milk products and highly processed products. Sugarless tablet alone are not much of help.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if a person develops diabetes, then he should initiate proper treatment. Treatment will depend upon type of diabetes and severity of blood glucose levels. T1 diabetes is treated with insulin injections. T2 can be treated by oral anti diabetes drugs and insulin injections or both. In addition to this strict diet control and regular exercise to maintain normal weight. Once diabetes is diagnosed it is better to avoid sweets and deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries and bakery items. Thanks.
