Information about Digene Tablet Mint

Digene Mint tablet is pleasantly flavoured flat chewable tablet and is the largest selling antacid in the country. Digene tablet contains Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Magnesium Hydroxide, and Simethicone.
The Aluminium hydroxide is an antacid, which neutralises increased stomach acid. Simethicone is an anti-flatulent, which helps in reducing bloating, discomfort or pain caused by excessive gas. Magnesium hydroxide is a laxative that increases water in the intestine and reduces stomach acid.
Digene tablet is helpful in providing relief from peptic ulcer, gastritis, oesophagitis, and other dyspeptic conditions associated with hyperacidity.

Dear Lybrate User, - avoid spicy food. - yes, you can take digene tablet (chew it, not to be swallowed) or gel (10 ml), both three times a day half an hour before meals.

Yes you can. 2-3tspn should be taken. Apart from medication, don't forget to have plenty of fluids, walk for 20 min after every meal and avoid very heavy meals.

Hi Anupoju. You need to take Lumbar traction and SWD which helps in reducing severe pain and provides relief. After this you need to do following exercises for 15 days and atleast once a day in the morning. Exercise's to reduce LBA 1. Lower tummy strengthening. 2. Deep abdominal strengthening. 3. Bridge. 4. Pelvis tilt. 5. Lower back stretch. 6. Leg stretch. 7. Piriformis stretch. Follow up if any more needed.
