Curegum Astringent

Curegum astringent helps in the treatment of bleeding gums, swollen gums, painful gums, toothache, inflammation of the mucous lining of the mouth and irritation. It is a topical solution having antiseptic agents along with tanning agents. It contains Potassium iodide, tannic acid, menthol, camphor, thymol and iodine.

Iodine acts as an antiseptic and anti-infective agent which helps to kill bacteria. Tannic acid acts as an astringent that leads to contraction and thereby helps to prevent bleeding of soft tissues and making them firm. Menthol helps to provide a cooling sensation which thereby helps to provide relief from pain. Camphor is a mild analgesic. Thymol has antiseptic and antibacterial properties . It also contains glycerine and purified water as the base.

Apply curegum astringent with your fingers or a cotton applicator on the gums and massage it. Do this after brushing your teeth and do not rinse or eat for at least 10 minutes , so that the gum paint gets absorbed in the gums and helps in healing of gums. After 10 minutes, spit it and rinse your mouth thoroughly. Do not swallow the gum paint.
