Bontress Hair Serum contains capixyl that stimulates the growth of hair along with prevention of hair loss. Its mechanism of action is modulating DHT and reducing hair follicle damage. This lotion has been used by adult men suffering with male pattern hair loss (MPHL), and it has also been used by patients affected by seasonal hair loss. Menopausal women have even used it for its therapeutic effects on the hair.
After a 4 month period, anagen hair density noticeably increases, and the length of hair follicles also increases. These positive effects are due to blocking the activity of 5-alpha-reductase, which can reduce the formation of DHT (the hormone responsible for causing thinning of the hair). It also help to triggers the synthesis of ECM proteins in the follicles, which help increase the strength of the follicles, leading to improved hair anchoring, and stronger, thicker hair.

Serum can add shine, protect against humidity and smooth your hair. You have to apply serums to wet hair prior to styling and only use one to two drops. Whereas, Oils not meant to aid in styling.
