About Roseday-A 10 Capsule

Roseday capsule is composed of Rosuvastatin and aspirin. It is used to lower the cholesterol level and fats like triglycerides. It is also used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. This medication belongs to a group of drugs known as statins. It is helpful in reducing the need for medical procedures to open blocked vessels. This medication reduces the blood cholesterol level thus reducing the risk of narrowing of arteries. It works better if it is supplemented by a proper diet and regular exercise.

Use of this drug must be as per directed by the doctor. However, if you have missed a dose, don’t try to compensate it by taking an extra dose with the next one. That is extremely harmful to the body. It is harmful to use this medication if you are suffering from any liver disease. Pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this drug. You should also consult with your doctor regarding the intake of this drug in case you are suffering from kidney disease or undergoing dialysis.

The drug inactivates the cyclooxygenase, which is required for the synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxane. Rosuvastatin increases the number of hepatic LDL receptors on the cell-surface, enhancing uptake and catabolism of LDL and it inhibits the hepatic synthesis of VLDL, thereby reducing the total number of VLDL and LDL particles.
