Hi lybrate-user. I understand your worry about the possibility of this side effect. But antidepressants cause erectile dysfunction will be very gross and generalised statement. Though sertraline, the drug you r taking, has a risk of sexual dysfunction in some patients, it is not as common as you think and you need not worry about it as if it happens, it is not irreversible. Treatment can be supplemented with drugs like bupropion which will reverse sexual dysfunction or even on changing sertraline to other antidepressant will solve the problem. In the worst case which is very unlikely if sexual dysfunction persist, it will get reversed as soon as antidepressants are stopped.
