Belonging to a drug group called antihistamine, Montasma syrup helps in relieving the symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, hives that are related to seasonal allergies. This medication blocks histamine (natural substance) that the body generates during the time of an allergic reaction, relieving you of the symptoms of the reaction. This medication is also available in solution as well as in tablet forms. Patient can use it in a form of combination therapy i.e. doctor may prescribe this drug along with other medications. It could be taken with or without food.

The dosage of this medication depends on your clinical conditions and on your body’s reaction after first dose. Remember to inform your doctor about your medical history, certain conditions like pregnancy, allergies, enlarged prostate or a kidney disease before you are prescribed to this medication.
