About Mintop 2% Lotion

This medication is used in the treatment of hair growth and male pattern baldness. However, it has no effect in receding hairline and baldness at the front part of the scalp. The lotion needs to be applied topically on the skin. It falls under a category of drugs known as vasodilators.

Certain rare reactions that may occur in case too much of this drug is absorbed into the body. You should notify your doctor if you:

  • Are allergic to any other drugs, foods or substances.
  • Are taking any prescriptive or non-prescriptive drugs, herbal medications or dietary supplements.
