About Lupihist Dm Syrup

This is a combination medication which has Diphenhydramine, Sodium Citrate, Ammonium Chloride, and Pseudoephedrine as active ingredients. It is an antihistamine, relieves symptoms of hay fever, allergy, and common cold. Symptoms may include itching, rash, watery eyes, runny nose, itchy eyes or nose, throat, cough, and sneezing. It also prevents and treats nausea, vomiting and dizziness which is caused by motion sickness. This syrup can also help you relax and fall asleep.

You should not use this syrup if you are allergic to it. Before taking this drug, inform your doctor if you have a liver or kidney disease, breathing disorder, blockage in the digestive tract, urinary problems, thyroid disorder or chronic bronchitis. Some possible side effects of using it can be drowsiness, constipation, blurred vision, stomach upset or dry mouth or nose may occur.

This drug is available as a tablet, capsule, or liquid form to take by mouth with or without food. Your dosage is based on your medical condition, age and response to treatment. To prevent motion sickness or help you sleep, take the dose 30 minutes before travel or bedtime.
