Pills, Creams, or Kegels - Which Is Best for Stopping Premature Ejaculation?

Stopping premature ejaculation can be tricky. You've probably come across many so called cures or solutions for dealing with this problem. Three very common solutions are pills, creams, and kegels.

Let's go through each of these so you won't waste time or money attempting a premature ejaculation solution which really isn't all that effective.

Pills. There are many "last longer" pills out there which usually consist of a combination of different herbs. They usually advertise that you can achieve a "harder and longer erection" and that this will have benefits towards being able to last long during sex. Here's the thing: some of these pills very well can deliver a harder erection. This erection can last for a while as well. But, the problem is stimulation. Even though you are harder, that doesn't mean you won't get stimulated and still remain hard. If you are prone to premature ejaculation problems, then you are still going to get excited too quickly. You may last a little longer because of the effects from the pills, but you will still experience quick ejaculation once you engage in sexual activity.

Creams. The idea behind lasting creams is that they desensitize the penis just enough so you won't get over excited and ejaculate too quickly. The thinking is that you won't feel enough stimulation to become over excited. Obviously this brings into question the first problem: do you really want to have sex and not enjoy it as much? You are essentially not feeling much sensation, and in extreme cases you won't be able to even ejaculate at all due to the numbing effect. But the main problem is that you do not want to have to rely on this type of method for lasting longer during sex. It lessens enjoyment and is more of a crutch than anything. Yes, lasting creams may be used effectively for a time or two when you are want to impress your partner more than anything else, but other than that they should be avoided as they will lesson the overall excitement and sensation of your sex life.

Kegels. These are exercises which men perform in order to strengthen the muscles responsible for controlling ejaculation. When you try to physically stop ejaculation from occurring, you will feel the muscles in play. You will likely also feel how difficult it is to control them. Many guys have pretty much no control over these muscles, and may think that it is impossible to achieve ejaculatory control by engaging these muscles. But it is defiinitely possible through doing kegel exercises. Once you feel where these muscles are, you can easily practice flexing them while simply sitting in a chair. Guys will do 10 reps for a number of sets, and then increase the rep count once they get stronger. There are many other strengthening routines involved with kegel training that can definitely lead you to having much stronger lasting ability during sex. These can work so well, that after several weeks of training you can eventually be able to flex and hold off ejaculation for as long as you want, meaning that you will have total control during sex, and not suffer from the embarrassing premature ejaculation problem ever again.
