How To Minimize Hairfall This Summer!

Now that summer season is there in its full glory, we can already see our hair taking the brunt. In summers, hair actually does get damaged more because of sweat, which attracts dirt and also the frequent hair wash if done with harsh shampoos also worsens the situation. So what can we do to lessen the damage:

1. Wash your hair frequently but use mild shampoos- 
It is good to wash hair daily or alternate days to remove the sweat from the scalp, but make sure to use an SLS free shampoos for this purpose. However, there can be a build up on hair with SLS free shampoos, so it is better to keep using one with SLS every 10-15 days. 

2. Never comb wet hair-
However tempting it may be, it is best to let wet hair get dry first rather than combing them. When our hair is wet, the follicles are swollen and so hair can be pulled out easily with a comb. Just pass fingers in your hair to style it. 

3. Never tie your wet hair-
Yes, the temperature outside can be really hot and it is difficult to keep hair open to dry, but tying wet hair will cause hair fall. 

4. Use a conditioner after hair wash-
A conditioner will not only help you get softer and shiny hair, but it will also cause easier combing and less tangling of hair. So having a good conditioner is worth it. 

5. Visit a Dermatologist for hair fall- 
Hairfall can have many causes, ranging from nutritional to hormonal. 
If you are having a hair fall, it is important to discuss with a Dermatologist early on to have better results.
