Coronavirus - Feel Safe With Ayurveda!

Everybody is in a panic mode since the health ministry has confirmed the first case of coronavirus in India. The who has already declared the situation a public health emergency.

Symptoms of COVID-19 includes

Respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulty.

In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death. The best and easiest way to save yourself from virus attack is to make your vyadhikshamatwa so powerful so that it can face any attack i. E. Boost your immunity. And the best way to boost your immunity is to follow Ayurveda principles. That’s why the whole world is looking towards Ayurveda for best solution.

According to Ayurveda principles, there are two modes of treatment

 A. Swasthya rakshan (preventive)

B. Chikitsa (treatment of the disease)

Swasthyaraksahan against COVID-19 (prevention)

1) Isolation- keep yourself away from the person suffering or suspected cases 

2) Follow ritucharya, dincharya according to ayurveda principles.

3) Regular yoga exercises.

4) Guduchi kwath – freshly prepared guduchi kwath (decoction of Tinospora cardifolia) 20-30 ml twice a day keep our immunity healthy and fit.

5) Avoid exposure to cold environment.

6) Avoid exposure to congested places.

7) Avoid any type of contact with other persons e. G. Shakinghands.

8) Use lukewarm water for drinking and regular use.

9) Avoid cold spicy oily junk food.

10) Take one spoon of good quality chyawanprash twice a day with milk.

Prathamik chikitsa (primary treatment)

If there is any flu-like symptoms like fever throat pain, running nose, following points should be followed

1) Isolation of the patient.

2) Plenty of liquid diets and easy digestible fibrous rich food.

3) Guduchi kwath– freshly prepared guduchi kwath (decoction of Tinospora cardifolia) 20-30 ml twice a day with jaggery. Or amritarista-10-15ml with equal amount of water after food twice a day. 

 4) Sitopladi churna 3-5gm with honey three times a day.
